Beautiful Children

An old friend from university recently tripped over this blog, and commented on how beautiful my children are (thanks James!).

I must modestly concur, of course. But it is completely down to their mother, and despite me.

I know this to be true, because I was once approached by a middle aged American couple in Frankfurt airport. I was sitting with Alex and Akira, Seiko was off buying pretzels (the best thing about Frankfurt airport).

This American woman also commented on the children's good looks... and immediately followed up by asking me if they were adopted... which put me firmly in my place and has kept me there!
