It's been a while...

Well, I've been busy. I should try to write more often, or I'll lose all my readers. Then I'd have a write only blog. A bit like a perl script, but less useful.

One of my best friend's wives had a baby recently. I found out about the pregnancy on the day the child was born. I don't use the phone enough, obviously. Or should it be facebook? Someone needs to drag me kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Although, to be honest, we're tending towards earlier centuries here just recently. We're about to embark on chickenhood - that is keeping chickens, not behaving like chickens.

Other things that are exercising my brain are a plan to build our extension from overgrown expanded polystyrene lego bricks, and my plan to power the world from the sun using solar vacuum tubes connected to stirling engines. And while investigating using electromagnets to drive the displacer in a stirling engine, I accidentally built a gauss gun. Well, almost.

Of course my time is still mainly occupied by the children, who continue to grow and develop. Alex and Akira dance here, this is Alex being pupil of the month last October, and they will both soon be performing in the dance show - 6 performances in one week... I hope Akira can cope.

Sophia is of course oblivious to all this, she can't yet walk, let alone dance, but she continues to charm. Her attempts at motion are quite fun to watch. I'll sure she'll get it together shortly, and then I shall have a perfect excuse to banish all the kid's junk to their bedroom. Trouble is, someone will probably try to banish my junk somewhere, and Sophia still sleeps in my bedroom...

Right, time for bed.

Oh, one last thing, got my car converted to LPG.

I'll post again round about Christmas probably...
